Guide: how to make money WITHOUT cheating

The beginning is tedious so just be patient. In the later levels when you can win fights and bounties don't forget to keep completing missions.
By the way, at the time this was written i am a level 18 (40/150 exp) and my code is 138-715-318

Level 1-13:

Missions are a key aspect of the game.
Completing them gives you both money, and experience so you can level up.
Mainly what you want to do is complete as many missions as possible and build up your mob (for later). When you level up you want to focus your points and building up energy levels, i would suggest 2 energy and 1 attack/defense per level, stamina and health will be built up later.
Some missions require certain weapons, a certain number of people in your mob, and that your current "energy level" be at or above a certain value.
These are the missions available up to level 5 (i think)

1 Purse Snatching: Payout $100-$200 and Exp +1
Required: Energy 1

2 Home Invasion: Payout $750-$1,300 and Exp +3
Required: Energy 1, 1x Lead Pipe

3 Grand Theft Auto: Payout $1,250-$2,250 and Exp +5
Required: Energy 5, 1x .22 Pistol

Suggestion: Complete 1 until you can buy a lead pipe (~2-3x). Then complete 2 until you can buy a .22 (~2x). Then complete 3 until your level 5. ALSO I would suggest that you don't put money in the bank, at the time this was written iMob was v1.02 and the bank took %15 so it's not worth it.

At level 5 you get

4 Liquor Store Break-In: Payout $3,000-$5,000 and Exp +8
Required: Energy 7, Mob: 2, 1x .22 Pistol, 1x Sawed Off Shotgun

At level 10 you get

5 Liquor Store Break-In: Payout $3,000-$5,000 and Exp +8
Required: Energy 7, Mob: 2, 1x .22 Pistol, 1x Sawed Off Shotgun

Do the same thing as before complete 4 till you can afford the items to do 5 etc. etc. keep your money in hand.

13+
Somewhere when your level 13-15 you can start having a decent chance at fighting. At this point banking -some- money becomes helpful so that you can heal yourself. Have a large mob, decent weapons, and most importantly patience. Attack other people with small mobs, I would suggest with half or less of your current mob size. When you are winning often (2:1 win:lose) you should start putting a few more points into stamina and health but do this in cycles so your energy, attack, and defense are still rising.

Split profits between weapons and property, and keep completing missions. Attacking is something to do in the time when you are building up energy for missions. I know it has been tedious so far but here comes the real money making, Property and Bounty Hunting.

DISCLAIMER: Try bounty hunting at your own risk, it can generate massive profits but it will take awhile to be able to be proficient at bounty hunting. Property is a much more stable and reliable way to make money.

Properties
I am assuming you can look up prices for your self, this section is merely talking about revenue
All revenue is in the format $1(per hour) for $x (invested at purchase) it is all base off the original price (the more you buy the more you pay)

Undeveloped land:
Land Fill - Revenue: $1 for $50
Avenue - Revenue: $1 for $166.67
Uptown District - Revenue: $1 for $500
Sea Front lot - Revenue: $1 for $500
Dock-unknown to me b/c my level is not high enough

Developments:
(Developements increase the income of a property and can be purchased after obtaining the appropriate Undeveloped Land)
Bed and Breakfast - Requires: Land Fill - Revenue: $1 for $33.33
Fast Food Franchise - Requires: Land Fill - Revenue: $1 for $50
Duplex - Requires: Avenue - Revenue: $1 for $50
Motel - Requires: Avenue - Revenue: $1 for $40
Shopping Plaza - Requires: Uptown District - Revenue: $1 for $7.5
Night Club - Requires: Sea Front Lot - Revenue: $1 for $20
Casino - Requires: Uptown District - Revenue: $1 for $200

My advice as soon as you can buy shopping plazas and only shopping plazas they will make you the most money in both the short term and long term.

There you go, lots of cash without cheating.

Addendum: now that I have been bounty hunting a lot and have gotten about 500 million from it I would say when you have the stats and weapons go for it, it is very rewarding

Bounty Hunting can get you a QUICK and HIGH value of money. But it is again, tedious and by chance/luck to get a good one you can actually get.


The guide is very good above, lots of good stuff.

Suggestion: Low Levels, get Energy Upgrades as much as you can, and just keep doing missions that bring in the most experience points and the most cash, get the required weapons for the next missions and just keep doing mission all the time.

I think this is one of the very cool things about the game...

You can attack it many different ways. You can build you character to level up quickly by adding ENG, you can build yourself for fights by adding stm. If you want to be offensive you invest points in Attack, or you can be a counter attacker by building up your defenses.

You can make money by investing in property or buy weapons and go bounty hunting. OR you can do a combination of the above.

The possibilities are... cliche

I like the combo personally. I made it to lever 20 and I have received about 5 billion in bounties and I invested it on properties. Now I get a steady 75 million every hour and what ever extra cash I get from being lucky on bounties.

Awesome tool for the beginner. I got $70,000 last night from a fight. Invested it all in weapons, except 1 property. Is anyone working on putting together a more thorough guide or faq? So are you saying that I shoud spent my 15m on Shopping Plaza and not to save up for the Casino?

Best way to get your mob bigger is to start entering friend codes, there are several web pages dedicated to that and of course a part of this forum is dedicated to that. Start inviting people and post your code at several different sites that should grow your mob pretty fast. Also remember you can only use 10 times your level of mob members, but with a bigger mob people are less likely to attack you.

And yes, I'm saying to buy shopping malls it will earn more revenue. If you have enough try to buy 5 or 10 lots and malls at once, from my experience the price changes according to how many times you have purchased an item not how many you have so buying 10 of both is the best deal if you can afford it.
